Never have I dreamed that people would actually search me out and ask me to blog for them– especially someone like Michael William G.  He completely embodies what it takes to be a stylist– creativity, taste, a keen eye of detail, drive, professionalism as well as humbleness.  What caught my attention was that the way he constructs a look is thoughtful and clean and his understanding of whats current and fashionable is present in his work; like all artists, Michael tells a intriguing story with each outfit he puts together.  Truly, Michael is one who understands the trade of wearable art.

Michael was more than happy to offer me some looks he put together to be posted on my lil’ ol’ blog!  They are perfect for this holiday of American Independence.  See below the cut for some rad outfits!

I adore me sexy, fitted dresses and color pants!  Coincidentally I have recently been enamored with the shade of blue found in the BCBG maxazria blouse of the second look!  These looks indeed fit the July 4th theme as well as the current Summer season– orange is a hot (pun intended!) color that turns heads and makes a statement!  While some find yellow to be a ‘sickly’ color, orange is one that expresses happiness and glee!

This alluring set makes me squeal with joy– I love prints!  And prints are currently the Summer trend for men!  I like the bold and confident statements prints make, and we all should carry confidence with ourselves.  Isn’t that what we want with our fashion?  To express ourselves and to make us feel so empowered that we can take on the world?

This FIDM San Francisco graduate and former Bloomingdale’s in San Francisco executive staff member is a force to be reckoned with– having styled for Hip-Hop Weekly where he style model Michael Fortes and providing wardrobe consulting to many clients, Michael William G. proves that hard work and embracing your creative talents can lead you to great opportunities.  The sky is the limit for Michael, and I am waiting with bated breath for what he will do next.
