Move over, fur vests and coats!  Furry fox tails are starting to make a statement!

Replace that lucky rabbit’s foot with a fox tail, instead!  Believe it or not, fox tail charms are gaining popularity– and not just with the ravers!  People have been adding their charms to their purses, bags… even to their pants!

If I were to give any advice about fox tails it’s this: know what you’re buying.  Some people actually use real fox fur for their products.  If that’s not your thing, and you want to go with something man-made then going synthetic perfectly acceptable!

Vendors such as Shenanigan Monster Productions— who often occupy the Artist Alley areas of local Sacramento conventions such as SacCon and SacAnime— don’t use real fur for their tails, and they can create them in any color!  Plus, SMP is run by talented and sweet individuals who really have a passion for creating unique products to sell to the public.

The option is yours: how colorful or how realistic do you want you tail to look?

Still interested with getting aboard this trend? Legacy Boutique in midtown Sacramento is also selling some chic fox tails for $30 each!

Will I be rocking a fox-tail charm anytime soon?  Why not? I could use a funky new bag charm :]
